Hi all, This little program is definitely worth sharing. It 's an encrypted storage program that lets you save all the hundreds on passwords and user name's etc we seem to accumulate these days

I wouldn't be without it - Just if you forget the password to get in - there's no way of getting it back.

Thanks Mark...

I use to use a similar program with Linux years ago.. Very handy.. Much safer than simply referring to a .txt file in my documents folder :)

Hi Steve, You'll see there is a backup function that automatically saves a copy of the file to another location - Good idea.

Definitely handy thing to have - I am in and out of that thing all day for one thing or another - I have absolutely everything in there to the point I have to the password in my Will lol.

How secure is the file? I noticed a reference during the setup process to Blowfish encryption?

Cheers

Hi Dave,
I am not an expert in security encryption but know there are many different encryption methods out there, but I guess at the end of the day any encryption method is secure until the point it can be broken.

Last year I had some queries myself with the software creator just on this subject as I'd like to know what happens in a worse case scenario. Apparently not even the developers are able to revive or restore any of the information.
