Hi Bill. I don't know how internet advertising works so just wondering, the 'Google' ads and ads that flash up on the bottom of the screen through the forum, do you recommend everyone advertised? Do you have a choice of who's advertising? Thanks

Hi Aroha, thanks for your question as I imagine a few others would like to know the answer to that as well.

The ads are chosen by Google and I have no idea what ad will appear when. Some are my competitors others I have banned from advertising via an exclusion list in my account. Google will chose the ad depending on the content on the page so for example you will see weight loss ads on the page that has my weight loss thread on it and stock market ads for most of the rest of the pages.

If you see an advert that interests you then you can investigate by clicking that ad but no I do not endorse or recommend any specific company. It's a lucky dip for me.

I have (personally) found that some of the ads offer some great free information. We never stop learning, if you have a few spare moments its definitely worth checking out what they are offering if the ad looks interesting. I particularly like the Top Dog Trading Movies!!

A lot of them provide heaps of free information and they want your business so they often give away bits of their courses which can always help build the old knowledge bank.
