Last night at Hapkido training we did 10 divebomber pushups followed by 20 fingertip pushups followed by 10 Burpees followed by 200 star jumps, followed 100 situps in 40% heat it nearly killed me haha oh yeah and we still had an hour of training to go after that.
Which included kicking, kata and technique practice.
I should be so much fitter then what i am.

Hi Bill, yeah one of my instructors is a fitness fanatic and whenever he takes the class we all look at each other and sigh. About a year 1/2 ago i weighed about 92k and one night i was up late like usual haha (night owl) and i saw an infomercial for "Power 90"
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=MAPi-4Av_Vw
I bought the program, it arrived on my door step and i procrastinated for about a week and then got started and over the next 3 months i lost 14kg weighing 78kg.
In Jan of last year i was in a car crash and got pretty bad whiplash will still effects me now and i have ballooned up to 90kg again. Ive been seeing a myotherapist for the last year who has really loosened up and sorted out the imbalances with my lower back muscles.
So i think im gonna have to start all over again on monday with the "Power 90" program my goal is to get down to 78kg again.
Oh yeah and Anthony Robbins has really changed my life as well especially getting yourself to ask better questions "Why do i do this" "How will this effect my life in a positive way" whenever i get stuck doing something now ask myself "what else can i do to make this work" get your brain to look for an answer and i always find it, remember we now live in the information age where anything we need to know is at the click of a finger.
Im looking forward to getting back into shape and not feeling heavy and bloated all the time, and also to feel good about myself because i don't look fat. I found last time that one u get through that 1st month and get through the soreness working out becomes an addiction.
Bill good luck with the new equipment, i like that its not hard on your joints, thats why i hate running it hurts me knees and ankles, its so dam easy to put the weight on but it takes hard work and determination to get the weight off again.
Cheers guys

Hi Julian, I started your own thread so we can all clearly state our goals and make ourselves accountable (the purpose behind this section) so, what are your goals?

haha yeah divebomber pushups are fun arnt they if u really want to get your heart rate going do some burpees... They are killers!!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_Dq_NCzj8M
but as u jump lift your knees to ur chest, also when u land lower yourself down dont land hard as u can jar your knees and ankles, land soft!
