Hi Bill,

Very interested to hear about all your recent holiday in the Caribbean, by the sounds of things, it has been a real eye opener and an excellent time had by all.

Like you, and the other members of the forum, I too am working hard on my goals for this year.

Here are my goals:

1. Lose 5 kgs and keep it off.
So far this year I have lost 4 Kgs mainly by walking and cutting down on all portions. Pretty amazing considering the amount of time spent in front of the computer. have found if I use my trusty pedometer and step out a minimum of 10,000 steps per day going for double 3 or so times a week, that this is doing the trick.

2. Develop and discipline my mind. I figured if I can discipline my mind to lose weight and get fitter than I have been for many years, then trading should be a cinch. It's all in the mind. Listening to Tony Robbins has certainly made me sit up and take responsibility for my own wellbeing. As you say walking and listening to Tony on the MP3 is a pretty powerful way to make progress.

3. My ultimate goal is to be financially free and Day trading Options by the end of this year. All we need now is to watch your new Day Trading Options and there will be no stopping us.
I know we will make it. Will have taken 3 years of blood sweat and tears, (last year particularly) but will be well worth it.

I love the constant motivation provided by this forum, as I find it so valuable to be associated with such a progressive and open minded bunch of people.

Cheers,

Rosalie

Hi Rosalie, I wouldn;t call Haiti a holiday destination. I was there to instruct on day trading but it was an interesting break.

I have moved your reply into your own goals thread (I'd like everyone to stick to their own goals thread so we can all make each other accountable and record our own progress without mixing it all up).

Sounds like you have some pretty easy to achieve goals there. For a goal to have any pulling power it needs to be tough but achievable and specific. Bring your day trading goal closer, and set a specific goal to help you "develop and discipline your mind" like "read 10 minutes of a positive mental attitude book every day" or something similar.

Know what I mean?
