How To Achieve Risk Free Trading

There is no such thing as Risk Free Trading. You risk money and there's no other way to say it...or is there? Consider this;

If you can earn enough profits to replace your original investment (yes that's a 100% return I'm talking about) and then go on to risk your profits what is the risk to your money? Here's what I mean. Let's say you start off with a risk bank of $20,000. You perform a  few successful trades and eventually double your bank. What if you were to set aside the original $20,000 (you could pay back the loan or put it back in your bank account where it belongs) and...

Simple - Only Trade With Pure Profits!

The risk is zero because "your money" has been put back in the bank or paid back to your lenders. You can then go on to trade with money that you extracted out of the market with your new skills. That is what I call "Risk Free Trading". If you lose it all, what have you lost? Some time? Some potential? But you have learned a lot and are more prepared for the next wave of profits to come your way.

Do you know what I mean?

At first we (traders) all use saved or borrowed funds to start with but that can easily be replaced by trading profits and skill and yes...a bit of good luck. After all no trader knows if the trade they place will be profitable, do they? They analyse the situation, weigh up all the variables and make an educated guess as to the likely direction with an exit plan if they get it wrong. That is just good trading.

Some of you have heard about the recent ban on short selling. Here's the good news. It doesn't affect options! You can still profit from a falling stock by buying Put Options and of course you can make  just as much profit by buying Call Options when the stock rises. So it's good to know...

You can still make a healthy profit. Isn't that just amazing? I always had an interest in the stock market as I (like most people) saw it as a way to make money without having to go to "work" for it (that way I could spend my time "working" on my own projects or hobbies or family) but I only knew that I could buy shares and if they go up I could sell them and...then what? Get back in I suppose. I knew though that stocks don't move much and doing simple maths that meant that I would need a ship load of cash to make it work.
